FAQs

What is Vinyasa Yoga?

Vinyasa Yoga is a style of modern yoga that uses a series of flowing postures and breath sequences. You may also know it as 'yoga flow'.

When should I arrive to a class?

Please arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled start time to sign-in and get your mat set up.

What should I wear?

Wear what you feel comfortable in. I recommend breathable sports clothing that allows for easy movement.

What do I need to bring?

Thick base mats are provided, you can bring your own yoga mat to place on top or simply use the ones in the studio. Additionally, it is recommended to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

How long are the classes?

Classes typically last for one hour.

How much are your classes?

You can book a taster class for just £6. After that, there are options to buy class bundles, therefore class prices range from £6 - £9 depending on the type of bundle bought.

I'm a beginner. Is there a class suitable for me?

Absolutely! The Vinyasa Light classes offer slower flows and we workshop all postures from the basics. This makes it great for beginners and anyone looking to take a slower, more focused approach to their practice.

What music do you play?

All music is slow, meditative music, helping you relax into your practice. Music is generously provided by composers who share their music royalty and licence free. If you like any of the music during your class, I would love to share more information about the compositions and composers.

What if I have any injuries or physical limitations?

Please always consult with a doctor if you have any uncertainties regarding injuries. If you are able to exercise safely, please inform Sarah of any injuries or physical limitations you may have before beginning your session, as modifications or alternative postures can be provided.

How often should I practice yoga to see results?

Regular practice is important to build strength, endurance, mobility, flexibility, and balance. Remember, it is important to always listen to your body.
